Brown On The Mark For Wee Dons

On Saturday we travelled to Larbert to play Stenhousemuir in a friendly game again we were successful in gaining a 1 - 0 win with another goal from Dougie Brown from a Rougvie pass. We played some good football on a big pitch which was in immaculate condition. We were strengthened by the inclusion of Ian Hair and Doug Rougvie. John Gardiner in goal had his best game for us so far, Jim Crawford and Bobby Glennie were two sound full backs, with Neil Cooper and Doug Rougvie making our defence more solid looking.
John Reilly had another good game in midfield and Ian Gibson seems to be coming in to form, and was unlucky not to score after a good move involving four players. Up front Dougie Brown and Duncan Davidson were always a danger to the Stenhousemuir defence.
