Young Dons' Fine Show

Motherwell Reserves Lucky to Draw.

DAVID SCORES TWO' GOALS.

The Aberdeen reserves put up grand display at Fir Park, where they drew 2-2 with Motherwell "A." Aberdeen were the better team, and the homesters were lucky to save a point.

Aberdeen made the running at the start, and after Hill had hit the post, David beat the backs to score a great goal.
McEwan, the Motherwell 'keeper, did well to save at full length from David a few minutes later.
The homesters attacked for a time, but the Aberdeen defence, and especially Legge, showed good form.
In an Aberdeen breakaway David scored a second goal, but just on half-time Watson reduced the leeway from a penalty.

Motherwell were aggressive on the resumption, and Cumming saved from Watson. Following several corners Sneddon equalised with a header.
Aberdeen replied spiritedly, and McEwan saved from McDermid and Dickie, while Donald missed a good chance. The homesters were lucky to retire with a point.
