"Jinky" Smith Sparkles for Young Dons

The brightest feature the Young Dons' 3-0 win against Dundee United "A" at Pittodrie on Saturday was the display of "Jinky" Smith, Parkvale, at inside left in the Aberdeen "A" team.

He showed his colleagues the way to goal with two well-taken efforts, and his partnership with Kiddie produced some flashes of good football.
Aberdeen were well worth their win, and had their forwards taken their chances they could have won by a more convincing margin.
Pacione was the better of the home full backs. McKenzie was reliable at centre half, though he had some worrying moments from Pacione, a brother of the Aberdeen back. Baikie, at left half, also did well.
Aberdeen's third goal came from Rice.
