Cowan Hits Young Dons Winner

The Dons have gradually pulled away from the foot of the table. A 2-1 win at Dumbarton was their sixth win in 15 games and took them to a mid-table position. Dumbarton took an early lead but the Dons stuck to their task well, playing with a fair amount of confidence to get back into the game with a John Hewitt goal midway through the first half. Steve Cowan came up with the second half winner, although the Dons had to thank Bryan Gunn for some good saves in the closing minutes.
