Wee Dons In The Black

While the result was pleasing Teddy was not too keen on the performance and he said: "We didn't play too well against what I thought was a pretty poor side. However, we always had too much experience for them and they never looked like beating us despite the fact that we gave them a penalty which they missed. Eric Black got the first goal from a cross by Ian Porteous and that's the way it stood at half-time.
"Tommy McIntyre got another from a corner by Andy Harrow and then we were a bit slack at the back to let 'Well in to peg one back. They had the chance to equalise but missed a penalty and then an Ian Porteous corner let Eric Black in for the goal that wrapped it up."
