Heavy Defeat

The Aberdeen Reserves suffered their biggest reverse of the season at Fir Park, where they went under to Motherwell A by five goals to nil.
Play was of the give-and-take nature at the start, and David twice almost beat the home keeper. The Fir Park side replied strongly and Smith saved from Douglas and McCafferty.
Watson gave Motherwell the lead.
Near the interval a great shot by Donald was held by Frame.
Aberdeen struggled desperately to get on level terms, but with twenty minutes gone they went further in arrears, Findlayson netting for the homesters.
Reid got a third goal soon afterwards, and Watson counted twice to complete his hat-trick.
