Reserves Win Cup-tie

The Young Dons had a convincing victory in their first round Second Eleven cup-tie. It was most unfortunate that the afternoon's sport should be marred by serious injury to the Dundee United keeper. The visiting officials were quick to emphasise that the injury was the fault of no one - we regret that it happened and trust the player will have a quick and complete recovery. The Dons, opposed by practically the complete first eleven of the Tannadice side, were the masters almost from the kick-off and thoroughly deserved their win. Again it would be correct to state that all played well.
