Reverse For Aberdeen 'A'

In a Scottish Alliance match at Rugby Park, Kilmarnock "A" defeated Aberdeen "A" by 3 goals to 0. The only goal of a well-contested first half fell to White the home inside right. Both teams defended well, but the forwards lost more than one good opportunity. In the earlier stages of the second half the home team were aggressive, and Cunningham effected some good saving. Ultimately he was beaten from close range by Ross, and that player added a third goal as the result of a fine individual effort. In the closing stages the Pittodrie team attacked, and Forbes had several creditable tries turned aside by the home goalkeeper. The better team won, but had Aberdeen played earlier as they did in the later stages, there would not have been a three-goal deficit..
