Huntly Lose At Pittodrie

Reserves met Huntly at Pittodrie, Aberdeen, on Saturday in the semi-final of the Aberdeenshire Cup. The Aberdeen Reserves had no great difficulty in passing into the final. Huntly put up a good fight, but they were no match for their more experienced opponents, who won by 6 goals to nil. Aberdeen, playing with a strong breeze in their favour in the first haif, scored twice, Watson and Massie being the marksmen. On account of a blizzard play was stopped for about five minutes in the first half. In the second period there was no doubt about the Reserves' superiority. Massie, the centre-forward scored three more goals, the last two coming in the closing stages.
