Rangers 2 - 0 Aberdeen

In a Scottish Alliance match at Ibrox Park, Glasgow, Aberdeen A lost to Rangers A by 2 goals to 0. Both goals were obtained by Hansen in the first half, when the, Rangers were shade the better team, despite their being at a disadvantage with the wind. Aberdeen changed their formation in the second half, when they were seen to much better advantage, Stevenson, MacLachlan, and especially Mackie showing cleverness. Aberdeen repeatedly attacked, but the Ibrox defence was very secure, and the Pittodrie team was never able to recover the ground lost in the earlier period of the game. Play was always interesting, and on the whole Rangers were flattered by the result.
