Points For Reserves

The Aberdeen Reserve registered its second successive away victory on Saturday, when St. Mirren Reserves were defeated under Scottish Alliance auspices at Paisley by 3 goals to 1. There was no scoring in the first half, when both goals were hotly assailed, and the keepers did well. In the second period the Pittodrie players came away in great style, and Connon twice (one from a penalty) and Mackie once found the net. Barclay getting through for St. Mirren. Aberdeen were the superior team in all departments. Their defence was seldom in difficulties, the half-backs especially giving a great account of themselves, and in a smooth-working forward line Connon and Fisher were outstanding.
