Aberdeen 'A' Beaten

The Pittodrie reserve team seems fated to remain at the bottom of the Scottish Alliance table. On Saturday other two points were surrendered to Hamilton Academicals "A" at Hamilton, the home team winning by a 3-1 margin. Each side scored once in a well-contested first half. Moore counting for Academicals and Mackie for Aberdeen. In the earlier stages of the second half Aberdeen "A" attacked strongly, but they could not turn their advantage into goals, and play turned in favour of the home team. For a lengthy period McBoyle and Smith kept the forwards at bay, but ultimately Brown got through to count, and before the finish Moore added a third goal for the Academicals, who were deserving of victory.
