Aberdeen Reserves Victory

In striking contrast to the results being obtained by the first team, the Aberdeen Reserve eleven continue to meet with success. They were at Forfar on Saturday under the auspices of the Scottish Reserve League, and defeated the local Athletic by one goal to nothing. In a scrimmage in the opening half Rankine, inside left, notched the all-important goal, and subsequently the Pittodrie defence withstood severe pressure, and managed to keep their goal intact to win a hard-earned victory.
