Drab Fare at Love Street

The Dons U21s fought out a drab no scoring draw against St. Mirren at Love Street. Aberdeen had their chances, especially in the first half but couldn't make the breakthrough. Coach Drew Jarvie was disappointed with the fare on display, but did single out the Dons' defence for some praise. "With three under 18s in the back four I was pleased with their display, especially young Scott Morrison (pictured)who made his first start for the U21 side. David Preece also did well in goal, but it was overall a very flat performance by the team".
