Robbie Winters turned on the style for Aberdeen, scoring his first hat-trick not only in Dons colours, but in his whole career. His recent form will relieve some of the pressure he has felt since he took over the strikers role from Billy Dodds. The Dons didn't get off to the best start however, and the visitors Dunfermline took the lead through ex-Rangers youngstar David Graham who scored only his second goal since his arrival at East End Park.

The score stayed the same up till the break with Aberdeen unable to score. However whatever Paul Hegarty said to his players at half-time seemed to work, and the Dons came for the second half with all guns blazing. Robbie Winters was particularly in the mood for scoring goals, and he grabbed the equaliser for the Dons after 51 minutes when he scored with a great strike. The secod goal was slightly scrappier but highlighted his striker's instinct, when he scrambled the ball over the line to make it 2-1.

Robbie Winters then completed his hat-trick after 68 minutes, when he scored another great goal to round off the scoring.On-form Winters will hope to continue his great form, and continue to hit the net in games to come.

Final score: Aberdeen 3-1 Dunfermline.
