Celtic v Aberdeen
Match Highlights

The Dons dominated from the first kick of the ball and David ROWSON gave Aberdeen a deserved lead with a superb strike from outside the box in 9 minutes. Eoin JESS played a short corner, the Celtic defence failed to clear and ROWSON took full advantage of the half chance. His strike took a slight deflection but the pace and accuracy left the Celtic 'keeper with no chance.

Wieghorst equalised in 21minutes after a lucky rebound off a defender. Larsson headed Celtic into the lead in an apparent offside position 15 minutes later.

Aberdeen continued to press their hosts after the restart but Jackson gave the home side the points in 83 minutes with a sucker punch against the run of play.

The Dons can take heart from a spirited performance which saw them outplay and outclass during large spells of the game.

Aberdeen manager Alec Miller said, "We had many chances to go two ahead and we're all disappointed not to do so.

"Celtic have spent a lot of money to buy in players. If we did the same, we'd be more than a match for them".
