An injury time spot kick, converted at the second attempt by Dean Windass, sees the Dons make it two wins on the trot. It was the former Hull City skipper who broke the deadlock after only nine minutes of the first half, an advantage the visitors held until substitute Billy Davies levelled midway through the second.

A stalemate looked on the cards until Windass was brought down by Jonsson inside the box deep into time added on. Windass took the kick himself and although Woods got his foot to it, the ball broke back to the kicker and he made no mistake.

Gillies and Miller came on for Newell and Glass.
