Young Dons let lead slip

It was honours even at Dens Park in the young Dons first Under 21 league outing of the season. Patrizio Billio made his first appearance in a red shirt against his former club along side fellow new boy Nicolas Fabiano.

An excellent first half performance by Aberdeen saw them deservedly two ahead at the interval courtesy of strikes from Ross O'Donoghue and Leon Mike. However the team allowed their standards to drop in the second period and the home side fought back to earn a share of the spoils against a visiting side reduced to ten men when Kevin Rutkiewicz was red carded after conceding a spot kick.
