Close Game

Few left the grounds at Pittodrie last Saturday before the final whistle. There were only minutes left when Billy Little got the all-important second goal and the issue was open to the very end. The ground was bone-hard - goalscoring was all the more difficult and this, more than anything else contributed to the closeness of the result.

Second Goal

We understand that for the winning goal, the ball shot by the Dons' right winger struck the near upright, swerved BEHIND the goalkeeper, struck the far upright and then went back into the net!!! That's the story - and the teller is sticking to it!!!
