Dons select in comfortable win

An Aberdeen select recorded a comfortable 4-0 win tonight against Forfar. The squad included several first team regulars plus Brazilian born trialist, Stefani Miglioranzi. The Dons dominated the first half and created several chances. Callum Bett opened the scoring and Darren Young and Cato Guntveit were on target to give the visitors a 3-0 lead at the interval. A fine display by the Forfar goalkeeper prevented the Dons from extending their lead.

Several substitutions in the second half disrupted the pattern of play and there was only one further goal. That fell to Darren Young who is in the middle of a two-match suspension. Miglioranzi had a comfortable debut and coped well in his first Scottish game. Manager Drew Jarvie was satisfied with the match saying, "The lads had a good work out and created a lot of chances. With no U21 match this week, it was good to give the whole squad a run out."
