Jordan Was Young Dons' Danger Man

PITTODRIE spectators had their first view of Jacky Jordan, the former Celtic and Queen's Park player, on Saturday, when he appeared on the right wing for the Young Dons in their Reserve League match against Morton "A."

Though not outstanding, he was a source of danger in an attack that lacked enterprise.
Aberdeen just deserved their 2-1 win. There was little between the teams, though for a spell in the second half, when they equalised through Lorimer, Morton looked as if they would get more goals.
The winning goal by Hume, thirteen minutes from time was the highlight of the match. He accepted a pass frcm McVean, beat his man, and slammed home a high drive from fifteen yards.
The opening goal was a soft effort from "Newman," which was deflected home by a defender.
Aberdeen's strength was in defence. Full backs Massie and Cooper were both sound. McVean was the best of the half-backs.
