Reserves Flatter To Deceive

AFTER putting up gallant the first half, when no goals were scored at Fir Park, the Young Dons fell away after the change over and lost 3-1.
Wallbanks, Walker and Crulckshank showed clever touches in the Pittodrie attack, but the line as a whole failed to knit together. As a result of this too much work was thrown on the half-backs and backs.
An early second half goal by Sladin gave the 'Well confidence, and midway through the period Irving added second.
The Aberdeen reserves rallied strongly and Cruickshank reduced the leeway, but a third goal by MacRobert made the issue secure for home team.
