Second Half Superiority : Adams Gets Hat-Trick.

Aberdeen A scored an easy victory over Queen of the South in an Alliance League fixture at Pittodrie yesterday.

It was a poor game throughout, and although the Dumfries team put up a plucky show in the first half, it was all Aberdeen in the second period. The homesters led by the odd goal in three at half-time, Johnston and Adam scoring, while "Newman" at outside left obtained a lucky goal for Queen's.
A goal by Gall soon after the resumption settled the issue, and the Young Dons attacked continuously after this. Westland added a fourth goal, while Adam completed his "hat-trick" with two fine shots.
The home team were superior in all departments. Cumming in goal was safe, but he should have saved Queen of the South's goal.

Halves Impress.

Jackson and Sharp played steadily, while in the half-back line Gavin was best. He repeatedly held up raids by the Dumfries men. He received splendid assistance from Donald, who kept a firm grip on the visitors' left wing and also found time to force the attack. Anderson did well until he was injured early in the second half. He resumed, but was limping badly.
Of the forwards, Gall impressed most. He had several good runs, but was unlucky in his shooting. Of the others, Adam and Johnston were best.
Although beaten six times, Bell gave a fine display in the visitors' goal and had several fine saves to his credit. Pollock and Kerr, the backs, were very plucky, but the halves were over-run.
In a forward line which lacked punch, McKay was the "star." He showed good ball control, and with more support would have been a dangerous raider. Nicol and "Newman" at outside left were the best of the others.
