Aberdeen 7 - 1 Aberdeen University

At Pittodrie Park yesterday afternoon Aberdeen A defeated Aberdeen University by 7 goals to 1 in the second round of the Aberdeenshire County Cup competition.
Aberdeen asserted themselves from the start, and before the game had been in progress 15 minutes McFarlane gave them the lead, and a few minutes later the same player counted again. Except for occasional breaksaway, the University were confined to their own half. Falloon increased Aberdeen's lead, but before half-time R. J. Scott reduced the leeway with a good drive from 25 yards. The second half was a repetition of the first. The Aberdeen attack brought the ball up to the University goal time and again, but did not make any great endeavour to increase their lead until close on the finish, when McHale, Cosgrove (2), and Falloon added further goals.
