An interesting fixture was fulfilled at Pittodrie Park last night, when a team from the Aberdeen club opposed aside from the Aberdeenshire Cricket Club. The game, which was over most enjoyable nature throughout, ended in a victory for the footballers by 6 goals to 2. The teams were:-

Aberdeenshire CC: A. J. Mortimer; R. S. Clark, W. Ross; J. J. Simpson, A. W. McColl, Colin H. Miller; Charles H. Miller, A. O. Galloway, W. Lythgoe, G. Munro, J. R. Park.

Some brisk passages of play were witnessed in the first half. The Aberdeen players set themselves out to play an exhibition game, and the result was that from the point a few of the fair attendance of spectators play was pretty to watch. The half time score wars - Aberdeen 3, Aberdeenshire CC 1.

Aberdeen lacked the service of Hannah in the second half, this player having had to retire on account of an injury to his back, which may keep him out of the team on Saturday. Despite this handicap, the ground's team easily had the better of matters, and without unduly exerting themselves won by 6 goals to 2.

All over the winners were a powerful combination, and the outstanding players on the cricketers side were R.S. Clark (who went in goal in the second half), Park, and Munro, last named capping a good display by scoring his sides two goals.
