Aberdeen 4 - 1 R.A.F. Lenaboe

15/03/1919 | KO: 15:00

A large attendance at Pittodrie on Saturday saw an Aberdeen Select side defeat a Royal Air Force team from the Lenaboe Station by 4 goals to 1. Play generally was ragged, and the select side had much the better of the exchanges. The RAF defence gave a smart display, but their forwards failed them. Joseph Walker, the Aberdeen forward, had the hat-trick, and along with him the outstanding players in the game were R. Hannah and R. Duffus in the home defence.

N.B."Lenaboe" was almost certainly Lenabo RNAS Airship Station at Longside. Quite handy for a visit to Pittodrie.
