Aberdeen 4 - 0 Celtic

Scottish League 'C' Division
Aberdeen scorers: Hay, McNeill, Rodger, Hather.

13/10/1951 | KO: 15:00

AT present on leave from the Army, Archie Glen turned out at left-half for Aberdeen "A" against Celtic "A" at Pittodrie on Saturday, and his display must have caused considerable satisfaction among the Aberdeen of officials.
His passing, always accurate and along the ground, was a treat to watch.
The game was marred by the fact that McGrory. the Celtic right half, was sent off, and by an injury to Heron, which caused the visitors to finish with only nine men.

THERE was never at any stage any doubt that Aberdeen were the better team, however, and Saturday's 4-0 win has brought their total of goals scored in their last eight matches to forty-three.
The Aberdeen attack showed more guile than that of their opponents and always looked more dangerous. There were some attractive moves up the left side of the field and McNeil was prominent with some clever ball play. Samuels pave another good display and Thomson was sound in the middle against the speedy Jamaican, Heron.
