In the first period there was no scoring, but in the second half the Vics were persistent, and Gauld getting round Ferguson, planted the ball in the net, thus scoring the first point of the match. wanderers played up after the reverse, but again the Vics got through. Neave, in saving, gave the ball to Gates, who, in running along a clear field, had no difficulty in beating Don for the second time. At last the Wanderers succeeded, Milne heading through from a cross by McInally.
