Gibson's Goal(den) Strikes

This was probably the Young Dons' most disappointing match so far this season when an inept display against East Fife produced a 1-1 draw at Methil. Certainly the wind and rain mitigated against good football but, as coach Willie Miller observed, Aberdeen had enough chances to win 3 matches.
Booth and Jess played but it was just not their night. Gibson scored again - naturally! - but that was to be Aberdeen's only strike on the night. To complete a miserable evening East Fife scored with a deflected shot 3 minutes from time.
Praise must be given to Neil Cooper and Gary Smith in central defence and Vincent Rae at left back had an outstanding match
