A product of Wycombe Wanderers youth development system, Anthony played most of his career with that club but also had a spell with Crewe Alexandra before returning to Wycome for whom he played a total of 248 games, scoring 10 goals. He signed a pre-contract agreement with the Dons on 21st June 2022, arriving at the club for the beginning of pre-season training. On 8th July it was officially confirmed that he would Captain the team in the coming season. After some disaterous results for the Dons in mid-season, and following the sacking of Jim Goodwin, Anthony was sent out on loan to MK Dons for the remainder of the season. After returning to Pittodrie and feauring on the subs bench at the start of 2023-2024, Anthony agin went on a season-long loan to MK Dons just as the transfer window closed on 1st September.
