Reserves Fall Heavily

Aberdeen Reserves sustained a heavy defeat under Scottish Alliance auspices at Paisley, where St Mirren beat them by 4 goals to 1. In a goalless first half, the exchanges were even. In the second period the home team took the game in hand and following an early goal by Wilson, the Pittodrie defence was in difficulties. A second goal came through Anderson, and Halliday, and McIntosh put the issue beyond doubt with further goals. A mistake by the home keeper allowed Buchanan to score for Aberdeen Reserves, who were weak in defence, and especially in the half-back Iine.
