Reserves Fall At Brechin

Aberdeen reserves were at Brechin, where the local City team defeated them in a northern league game by 3 goals to 2.

At the outset Aberdeen pressed, but Brechin wakened up, and the remainder of the first half was largely in the visitors' territory, Laing putting in the only goal of the period for the City.

Up on resuming, Brechin were again early in evidence, and Laing snatched another point. Shortly afterwards Green was brought down just outside the penalty line with no one to beat but the goalkeeper, and Levie the from the kick made sure. Smarting under these reverses Aberdeen walker, and McIntosh scored twice in rapid succession. From this period to the end, play was vigorous on both sides, but no addition was made to the score.
