Celtic have Six Appeal against Desperate Dons

Aberdeen were defeated 6-0 at Celtic Park this afternoon, with the home side hitting 4 goals in the last 15 minutes. Celtic got off to the perfect start, scoring after just four minutes. Good build up play from Alan Thompson and Bobby Petta led to Henrik Larrson netting his 24th goal of the season to make it 1-0. It was 2-0 in the 19th minute, Celtic's new on-loan defender Ramon Vega scored on his debut, tapping in from an Alan Thompson free-kick. Vega nearly grabbed a 2nd just seven minutes later, but his header went over. Tommy Johnson had a couple of efforts for the home side, but he failed to hit the target.

With half an hour remaining Didier Agathe ran well and nearly made it 3-0, and a brilliant tackle from Phil McGuire denied Henrik Larrson from scoring. Larrson did however get his second in the 75th minute, and then completed his hat-trick 2 minutes later. His brilliant run and shot gave Esson no chance, and gave Celtic a comfortable 4-0 lead. Ramon Vega grabbed his second and Celtic's fifth in the 79th minute, and Jamie Smith completed the rout in the dying minutes.
