Aberdeen 3 - 0 Tulloch

HT Score: Aberdeen 2 - 0 Tulloch

Aberdeen scorers: Shinner, Wishart, W. Mackie.

26/12/1903 | KO: 14:30

Aberdeen A and Tulloch engaged in a friendly match at Pittodrie Park. Teams:- Aberdeen: Ritchie; Moir, Bremner; Murphy, Thomson, Robertson; Shinner, Wishart, C.W. Mackie, Smith, Shiach. Tulloch: Mailer; McGregor, Smith; Taylor, W. Gardiner, Fleming; George, A. Gardiner, McKay, Scott, McDonald.

The A's kicked off towards the south goal, but the ball was transferred to the home territory, where Ritchie was called upon to stop a rush by the visitors' left wing. The Aberdonians then made tracks for Mailer, and from a well-directed pass from the left Shinner opened the scoring two minutes from the start. The Aberdonians continued to have the upper hand, and but for an occasional run northwards by the Perthshire men play was almost solely confined to the visitors' ground. For a few minutes the As literally bombarded Mailer's charge, but the custodian was on the alert and deftly turned aside many a dangerous shot. After a spell of midfield play Wishart put his team two points on the lead, cleverly directing the ball into the net as the result of a well-judged pass from Mackie.

On the resumption of play the visitors were again called upon to act on the defence, but the As were never really dangerous. Mackie eventually scored, and the game resulted Aberdeen A 3, Tulloch 0.
